First-Class Private Railcar Travel for the 21st Century

Trip Reports

The New York Central System Historical Society recently chartered the Hickory Creek in conjunction with their 2007 convention which was held in Buffalo, New York.  A number of guests utilized the Hickory Creek as transportation to and from Niagara Falls station, which was a short ride to the convention hotel.  Others joined the train for a Mohawk roundtrip which operated between Niagara Falls station and Albany-Rensselaer, on the rear of regularly scheduled Amtrak trains 280 and 285 respectfully. Thank you Amtrak Empire Division for helping to make these trips a success.
