Which Amtrak trains can the Hickory Creek be attached to?

For the most part, there are few trains that Hickory Creek can not be attached to; however, there are some operations issues that may restrict our access.  For instance, the number of trains that can be utilized on the Northeast Corridor is rather limited compared to number of daily trains that operate on this route.  This is simply due to the fact that most of these trains exceed the maximum authorized speed of the Hickory Creek.  The Hickory Creek, and other private cars of similar design, are restricted to 110MPH maximum operating speed.  As a result, the following trains would generally be available and able to accommodate the Hickory Creek on the NEC between New York and Washington, or points south (subject to railroad approval):

Most, if not all, Empire Service trains can accommodate the Hickory Creek.  Whether you seek a roundtrip between New York City and Albany-Rensselaer, or points beyond, this route offers some of the finest scenery in the Northeast.     Important:  While connection times between arriving and departing trains may appear adequate for passengers, this does not automatically imply that there is ample time to complete the necessary tasks associated with switching the Hickory Creek from one train to another.  Please contact your Charter Agent to discuss available scheduling options.
