Plan A Trip
This information is provided to give first-time private car travelers some guidelines in helping us to help you plan a trip. In most cases, you can travel to many of the locations served by Amtrak and VIA Rail Canada. Please note that there are only certain trains that we we can be attached to that operate on the Northeast Corridor. In order to begin planning your trip, you should consider the answers to the following questions:
- What are your departure and destination cities?
- What is your departure date?
- Do you desire intermediate layover points?
- How many people are in your group?
- How long would you like to stay at your destination?
- Do you plan to use the train as hotel space at your destination?
- Are there any guests that require special assistance boarding or detraining?
- Do any of your guests have food allergies or other special dietary concerns?
- Are there any guests in your group that require special assistance boarding or detraining?
Please see the capacity page which explains how many guests the car can accommodate depending on the intended use. Once you have had a chance to review the questions above, contact your charter agent. A representative from Star Trak Incorporated will contact you to discuss the details of your itinerary.
